Replacing Your Hard Drive
A replacement or additional Hard Drive is a valuable investment for your computer system. Disk Capacity and Speed has increased while costs have come down.
Additional Hard Drives provide convenient and inexpensive storage space and are great for backing up valuable data.
Replacing a hard drive can be a momentous task because of the need to transfer files from the old drive to the new.
All data and pictures must be backed up before removing the old hard drive.
You will also need to reinstall the operating system and all the software. It may be best to consider adding an additional drive instead of entirely removing the older one. Most motherboards can handle up to four hard drives....
